The girls track & field team defeated Marian 115-16 on Tuesday night. Standouts for the Lions included: Brynlee Jellison, Korryn Parmer, and Olivia Gutierrez sweeping shot and discus. Jazlyne Torres and Kyle Floyd placing 1st and 3rd in the long jump. Madilyn and Paige Collins sweeping the Pole vault Rylee Drummond, Mya Curry, and Sheena Brooks sweeping the high jump. Miranda Camacho-Flores, Arianna Garcia, Meghan Grasty, and Rosell Robles, 1st in the 4 x 800 RElay Mya, Elizabeth Higgins, Rosell, and Brianna Canfield - 1st in the 4 x 400 Relay Ashlyn Sessler, Jazlyne, Kylie Villanueva, and Kamryn Hoeflinger - 1st in the 4 x 100 Relay Elizabeth and Maya Betancourt - 1st and 2nd in the 300 hurdles and along with Sheena, sweeping the High hurdles Harley Eash, Kavisha Patel, and Alexus Elion swept the 3200 run. Miranda, Meghan, and Valeria Cruz- Portillo swept the 1600 run. Rosell and Arianna - 1st and 3rd in the 800 m run Brianna, Mya, and Taylor Higgins swept the 400. Taylor and Ashlynn - 2nd and 3rd in the 200. Kamryn and Ashlynn - 1st and 3rd in the 100. The girls are at the Princess Relays this Friday at Mishawaka HS and then host St. Joe next Wednesday for senior night.
