G Track & Field Results at Lioness Invitational

The Lions won the first annual Lioness Invitational on Friday night in a very close meet with Concord. The Lions had lost the lead in the 3200 but came from behind winning the last event, 16-8 to overcome the Minutemen's small lead. Final scores were Elkhart 235.5, Concord 230.5, LaPorte 68, and SB Career Academy 41. Leading place winners for the Lions were: Brynlee Jellison, Korryn Parmer, and Olivia Gutierrez - 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in discus Brynlee - 1st in shot put Madilyn Collins and Mya Curry - 2nd and 3rd in High jump, respectively Madilyn and Paige Collins - 1st and 2nd in Pole Vault, respectively Elizabeth and Sheena Brooks - 2nd and 4th in high hurdles, respectively Miranda Camacho - Flores, Serena, Alaina Dibley, Roselle, and Meghan Grasty - 2nd in 4 x 800 Relay Valeria, Sadie Dibley, Harley Eash, and Arianna Garcia - 3rd in the 4 x 800 Relay Mya, Aaariona Horton, Rosell Robles, and Brianna Canfield - 1st in the 4 x 4 Relay Brendayah Dale, Elizabeth Higgins, Jazlyne Torres, and Ellie Dibley - 3rd in the 4 x 4 Relay Brendayah and Trenyce Harris - 2nd and 3rd in the 200 m dash Danica Barnes - 4th in the Long Jump Elizabeth and Maya Betancourt - 3rd and 4th in the 300 hurdles Valeria Cruz - Portillo - 4th in the 800 m run Aarionna, Brianna, and Mya - 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the 400 m dash, respectively Ja'leiiya Williams and Brendayah - 1st and 3rd in the 100, respectively Rosell Robles - 3rd in the 1600 Brendayah, Danica, Trenyce, and Ja'leiiya - 1st in the 4 x 100 Relay Kamryn Hoeflinger, JAzlyne Torres, Ashlynn Sessler, an Kylie Villanueva - 3rd in the 4 x 100 Relay The girls remain undefeated on the season and are at Penn on Wednesday night.
